Hey. This is a solo-built indie project for helping people find good stuff happening in NYC. No ads, no trackers, no selling data. Here's the honest rundown of what happens when you use the site.

what we collect

• email — only if you log in with Google or subscribe to the newsletter. We use it to identify your account and send the weekly digest if you opted in.
• your name — from Google OAuth, just so the site can say hi to you.
• starred events — so you can find them again on the "for you" page.
• page views and clicks — which events you open, which pages you visit. This helps tune recommendations and figure out what's actually useful.
• chat queries — whatever you type into the chat, so we can improve the assistant.

what we don't do

• We don't sell your data. Ever.
• No third-party ad trackers, no Facebook pixel, no Google Analytics.
• No ads, no paid placements, no sponsored events.
• We don't share your email with anyone.

how long we keep it

• Page view and click logs: 90 days, then deleted.
• Starred events & account info: until you delete your account.
• Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe.

your rights

It's your data. You can:

• See what you've starred on your page.
• Delete your account anytime from your account page — this soft-deletes your profile and removes your personal data from active use.
• Email us to request a full data export or hard deletion.

google oauth

If you log in with Google, we get your email, name, and profile picture. That's it. We don't read your Gmail, your calendar, or anything else. You can revoke access anytime in your Google account settings.

cookies

We use one signed session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies.
